Advance Your Storytelling Career with a multimedia master’s Degree
The Multimedia Storytelling Master's is one of the only hands-on multimedia storytelling graduate programs in the Pacific Northwest: a 48-credit MA you can finish in about 15 months at the University of Oregon's Portland campus. You'll build storytelling craft and technical skill across video, documentary, podcasting, animation, explanatory media, and immersive and 360 video, working in professional radio/podcast and video/photo/VR studios alongside award-winning faculty.
You'll produce real work starting in your first term and build a professional network that helps you stand out, graduating with a portfolio of published and produced work rather than classroom exercises. Whether you're launching a career or deepening one, you'll leave ready to tell stories that inform, move, and matter.
Applications for the 2026 cohort can be submitted until July 31.
