Journalism Master’s Program

In this full-time, one-year residential program in Eugene, you’ll learn the foundations of journalism, including story research and development, fact finding, writing, and multimedia skills. You’ll work with Pulitzer Prize–winning professionals and recognized communication researchers. And you’ll get hands-on practice to build your skills and your portfolio. No journalism or media background is required.


Multimedia Journalism Master’s Program

In this flexible, Portland-based master’s program, you’ll become a professional content creator with the journalistic, technical, and entrepreneurial skills to advance your career. Designed for working professionals with communication experience, this two-year program offers hands-on experience in visual, explanatory, and narrative storytelling. You’ll build the journalistic and technical skills to stand out in the field, from flying drones and shooting 360-degree footage to editing compelling audio and video.


Strategic Communication Master’s Program

Today’s strategic communicators must master a broad skill set encompassing creativity, critical thinking, strategic analysis, and practical application.
