Support the SOJC

Why Give?

Your support provides the foundation for everything we do at the SOJC. Private donations are a major source of financial aid that allows students to focus on their studies, build their portfolios, and gain experience outside the classroom. It gives our faculty the means to advance the field with groundbreaking research and innovative projects. And it helps the school attract top talent while keeping up with a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Make a Gift

Your time and expertise are worth more than you know. Here are three ways you can make a difference:

  1. Host a gathering in your hometown. Help us connect all the SOJC Ducks in your area by planning an alumni get-together.

  2. Work with us to organize a student visit or hands-on learning project. Invite a group of students to your agency or media organization to learn the ropes, make industry contacts, and get real-world experience.

  3. Participate in student portfolio reviews. Sign up to give professional feedback on advertising and public relations student portfolios at annual sessions in Eugene and Portland.

Build Your Legacy

Make a difference for SOJC students well into the future. Here are two ways to establish a lasting legacy at a place you love:

  1. Include the SOJC in your will or as a beneficiary of your retirement account. Let us know if you include us in your plans so we can ensure your gift is made in accordance with your wishes.

  2. Create an endowment. Support an area you are passionate about in perpetuity by starting an endowment fund.
