The Oregon Government Ethics Commission dismissed the case of former SOJC Dean Juan-Carlos Molleda, who resigned his position in June after a newspaper investigation into his travel spending.

Regina Lawrence, SOJC associate dean and research director of the Agora Journalism Center, has been named interim dean of the SOJC. She will relocate to Eugene and serve a one-year appointment.  

SOJC Dean Juan-Carlos Molleda joined 100 volunteers from the UO and Ohio State in assembling food boxes for the needy. The tradition of the two teams volunteering before the Rose Bowl dates back to 2010.

SOJC Dean Juan-Carlos Molleda lauded the LAGRANT Foundation and the Hispanic Public Relations Association for supporting Hispanic students and professionals in advertising, marketing, and public relations.
