Shan (Shannon) Anderson, Senior Instructor at the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon, teaches advertising and digital publishing for mobile. After twenty years working in the graphic design, IT and advertising industry, Shan brought his skills and knowledge to the students of the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC). Shan has spent the last fifteen years at the SOJC helping develop the mobile digital publishing capabilities of the department. He was instrumental in helping the students create the first student produced digital publication for the iPad using Adobe DPS. Currently he has been developing and leading students in the production of digital media for a number of departments on campus, including Student Life, the Alumni Association, and fundraising materials for the UO Foundation.
