2020 Hall of Achievement Inductee

Jane Wildman has successfully positioned companies, brands, and people for success for over 30 years. Working with Fortune 50, family-owned companies, and start-ups, she is the past president and board member of Combe Incorporated and former global vice president of Procter & Gamble (P&G). She currently serves as a board advisor for Omni BioCeutical Innovations and Embrace Innovations—two female-founded companies—and is on the advisory board for G100's SSA Digital practice and Women’s Leadership Accelerator.

She also actively consults in strategy, branding, digital transformation, and diversity. She serves on the advisory board of the Association of National Advertisers Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing and the UO SOJC Journalism Advancement Council.

Wildman’s passion for journalism started at Willamette High School in Eugene, where she was co-editor of the award-winning newspaper and a devoted Ducks fan. While attending UO SOJC, she interned at KVAL and was pursuing a career in broadcast when a class with Professor Willis Winter introduced her to a new passion: advertising. When P&G interviewed on campus, Winter helped Wildman prepare and encouraged her to explore P&G’s career opportunities, from strategically positioning brands to leading a business.

At P&G, Jane served as vice president, general manager, and global chief marketing officer for Baby Care and Pampers, P&G's biggest brand. During her tenure, the business doubled, from $4 billion to $8 billion. Over 25 years at P&G, she worked on iconic brands such as Olay, Jif Peanut Butter, Head & Shoulders, Vicks, and Always.

Under Wildman’s leadership, her teams have earned the Cannes Gold Lion, numerous Effies, Product of the Year, P&G’s highest honors for brand building and design, and the agency-selected Client of the Year. The Clinton Global Initiative recognized Pampers’ life-saving cause marketing UNICEF partnership to help eradicate maternal and neonatal tetanus in Africa. Wildman’s personal honors include the United Way New Century Community Service award, the Profiles in Diversity award, and the ProKids (CASA) award for board leadership.

Wildman and her husband John live in Ohio and have two sons. Still an avid Ducks fan, she is one of the few in Ohio to wear an O for Oregon.
