SOJC VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
Saturday, June 12, 2021
Virtual ceremony released at 10 a.m. PDT
The 2021 University of Oregon commencement, including the School of Journalism and Communication ceremony, will be held virtually this year. The UO is hosting two in-person activities for graduates. Updates on the UO celebration are on the university’s commencement website.
We’re partnering with StageClip again this year to incorporate many elements of our traditional ceremony into a virtual event:
- Individual recognition of each graduate, including a video, photo, and short message
- Our student-produced commencement video
- Keynotes from the dean, student speaker Sydnee Walker, and SOJC alum Heba Kanso
- Special messages from SOJC faculty and staff
To watch the ceremony, go to the UO Commencement Ceremonies webpage at 10 a.m. PDT on June 12 and find the link for SOJC.
Celebrate with the Class of 2021 during commencement with a virtual watch party!
