8. Currently living in Eugene, her interests include dancing, spending time with her roommate and helping out at a local nursery.

Is that correct?

Certainly not.

It's another dangling modifier.
You might even say it's unnatural.
What lives in Eugene?
A person or her interests?

Here's one version that eliminates the dangler:

Currently living in Eugene, Jane has interests that include dancing, spending time with her roommate and helping out at a local nursery.

But that's not a very good sentence. Here's a better one:

Jane, who lives in Eugene, likes to dance, spend time with her roommate and help out at a local nursery.

How do I know her name is Jane? I guessed. Back to the test
