Students will be expected to participate in class discussions, complete two essay format, in-class examinations, complete group assignments as well as a group research project (or participate in the group but complete the group assignments individually). The first examination will be Oct. 29 and the second Nov. 24. The individual writing project and the group/class research project will be due Dec. 3. In addition there will be an extra-credit project, also due on Dec. 3, which can earn a student up to one-half of a letter grade.
