Miranda Atkinson is an academic and career adviser in the School of Journalism and Communication. She advises prospective and current pre-journalism and journalism students. Additionally, her voice can be heard on Quick Question, the jcomm advising podcast, and she co-teaches the journalism transfer seminar. Before relocating to Eugene in July 2010, Miranda served as an academic adviser at the University of Missouri where she earned her masters degree in counseling psychology in 2008. Her primary interests include academic advising and student outreach. Fall 2011 drop-in advising hours for the Student Services office in 101 Allen Hall: Monday - Friday: 9am-11am & 1pm-4pm Appointment hours are also available, call 541-346-2884 to schedule an appointment.
