Lee Emmert has been a freelance photojournalist since 1997. His work has appeared in TIME Magazine (on 30+ occasions) as well as Money, Fast Company, Inc, Red Herring, Forbes, Barron’s, Fortune, and many other publications. Emmert has degrees in both photography and philosophy, and has been honored by awards from Communications Arts, Graphis, and Print Magazine. Lee has been commissioned to photograph everything from political figures and CEO’s to the homeless and disenfranchised, and he has traveled to 24 countries for an international clientele and purpose. Emmert has a deep-rooted belief in the power of images and a continuous ambition to capture the nuances of compelling persons and circumstance. He has been based in Portland, Oregon for the past 5 years.
