Background:
Lisa Heyamoto teaches courses in multimedia storytelling, reporting and writing. She also advises the student publication, Flux. Lisa comes to the university from the newspaper world, where she was a pop culture and trends reporter for The Seattle Times and a metro columnist for The Sacramento Bee. She is a narrative journalist with an interest in underdogs, eccentrics and true believers. She lives in Eugene with her husband, daughter and two cats.
