Biography:
Background
Morrison teaches conceptual thinking, creativity and content, portfolio, mobile media, and the Creative Strategist course emphasizing social responsibility and innovation. She believes strong university programs should uphold the promise of developing intellect and talent for the creative industry. Her creative activity focuses on professional creativity, creative leadership, and talent development. She consults regularly for brands and issues in higher education, and on talent development strategies for agencies. Her books include, with Glenn Griffin, The Creative Process Illustrated: How Advertising's Big Ideas are Born (2010) and Idea Industry: How to Crack the Advertising Career Code with Brett Robbs (2009). Morrison is a two-time winner of the SOJC Marshall Award for Innovative Teaching, named a Grandmaster of The Art Directors Club in New York, and served on the board of The One Club for Art + Copy for two terms. She’s spoken at SXSW, HOW Design Conference, and various professional venues focused on creativity and talent. Her mantra: Let’s Do This.
