Rachel Allen is the Assistant Director of Student Services and an academic and career adviser in the School of Journalism and Communication. She advises prospective, pre-journalism, and journalism students. Additionally, she teaches the journalism transfer seminar course and job and internship search strategies course. Rachel is also responsible for co-coordinating the Snowden Internship program with faculty member, Kathryn Thier. Before relocating to Eugene in August 2011, Rachel served as an academic adviser for pre-pharmacy students at Oregon State University where she earned her masters degree in College Student Services Administration.
