This is an Oregon story. A pioneering story. Nearly 100 years ago, Eric Allen established the University of Oregon School of Journalism -- the first professional school of journalism in the Northwest. In the classrooms of Allen Hall, the faculty and students built a standard of excellence in writing, ethics, and research that endures today. To continue to excel in journalism, communication, public relations, and advertising, the SOJC needs the facilities to support the change in media.
